The "Begin Research" online library orientation/tutorial is located by clicking on the Begin Research link from the HCC library homepage. You can find the link in the "For Students" box at the lower left of the page. Some online course instructors use a different version - one that is integrated inside Canvas, so pay attention to your instructor's directions to access the correct version.
Some HCC instructors use "Begin Research" as a formal assignment or extra credit, or you may have been directed to the material for informal library instruction. If you need to complete "Begin Research" for assignment points or credit, you will need to complete the included "Exit Quiz" with a score of 80% or above after reviewing the seven included modules ("About This Course," "Begin Research," "The Knowledge Cycle," etc.). The "Exit Quiz" is located as a link from the "About This Course" section.
