The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook is probably the most current and trustworthy (and the quickest!) online source in which to find the information you need.  It's not a HCC database, so you don't have to log in. It contains information on training, education, expected growth, conditions, and more for a wide array of careers.

Our Career and Vocational databases are a good place to locate more detailed information, like articles from magazines, newspapers, and journals on various careers and vocational topics and issues.
