No, the TexShare card does not provide access to the Discovery Texas search service. The card provides limited access to a participating library's print collections.

Discovery Texas at is a federated discovery searching service offered by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission to allow users of TexShare member libraries to easily discover and retrieve information from multiple library catalogs, databases, and other knowledge collections without having to use each individual library's interface. Currently Discovery Texas searches through more than 150 TexShare member library catalogs, and licensed content from EBSCO and Gale.

You access Discovery Texas and the TexShare databases either through an authenticated link on your library's website or with a TexShare login I.D. and Password. Check with your local Texas public library to find out more about your options.
