While many HCC libraries have magazines for use in the library, checkout is up to the individual campus library.

Here's the relevant section form our library policies:

2.107.1.11 HCCS periodicals at each campus library are available for use in the library at that location only. Intercampus sharing of periodical articles is available through the periodical photocopy request procedure. Loan of periodicals may be made at the discretion of the public services librarian.

You might want to contact your local HCC library to see if they check out magazines. You can find our contact information and locations on our Library Locations & Hours page.

If you are interested, HCC Libraries also offer electronic magazines through a service called Flipster. These items can be viewed on a computer or device through your browser or you can download the Flipster app on many devices. Here is a link to our magazines: https://library.hccs.edu/flipster.
