When you access HCC Library databases from off-campus, you are taken to an authentication page.
Authentication requires your Eagle ID -- the same ID you use to log in to register for classes, access Eagle Online 2.0/Canvas, and access your HCC student email account. You may know it as your W-number.
If you are unable to access library databases using your Eagle ID, you should reset your password using the Password Management system link below. If that does not work, you should reset your password by contacting the IT Help Desk at 713-718-8800.
You can see what the Database Authentication page looks like by clicking the link below. If you do not see this page when accessing a library database, please try again by accessing it via Databases A-Z. Please do not hesitate to ask the library staff for assistance or advice if you are having access issues.
